This year’s expert panel Q&A session will be centered on maintaining a healthy relationship with our own bodies.

At all ages, we are bombarded with societal cues and messages that impact the way we see ourselves. We’re too fat or too frail, not vibrant enough or strong enough or even enough enough. Over time, it becomes too easy to allow self-doubt to grow into disapproval or disdain, and we find ourselves trying to love our Creator while despising His creation. Whether it be healthy aging, dealing with body changes or image issues, or protecting our bodies by protecting our minds, our panel of trainers will be on hand to help cut through the noise around some common issues, along with issues that are too common but not commonly discussed. Mark your calendars for April 13, 2024, and plan to attend the Full Life Conference — a one day event designed to provide support and inspiration around issues of physical, relational, and spiritual health and wellness. This year, Pastor Bernie Anderson will serve as our keynote speaker and principal trainer. Our theme for this year’s conference is In the Flesh: Healthy bodies; healthy spirits. We are created in the image of GOD - how we relate to our bodies directly impacts all of our relationships, whether it be with ourselves, our community, or our Creator. Join us as we delve deeper into some common and too-often ignored issues that can draw us into dissatisfaction and disconnection.

Be sure to join us for our Galentine’s Day Brunch and Secret Sister reveal on Sunday, February 11, at 10:00 a.m. in the Arlington SDA Church Fellowship Hall. This event is open to all ladies, whether you participated in Secret Sisters or not.

Enjoy a scrumptious brunch, fellowship, and fun. The Secret Sister reveal event will take place after the meal. Bring a small reveal gift or card and come ready to visit with your secret sister!

Chili CookOff is back! Save the date for February 10 @ 6:30 PM to come on out and enjoy a night of chili, bonfires, games, and fun with family and friends. Our Wolves Pathfinder Club will be raising funds in preparation of upcoming events and gatherings, so bring extra cash to help support. 

You have the opportunity to enter your chili in the contest to see if yours is the spiciest, the most original, the best overall… or maybe you just take home the prize for the best looking booth. Mike Tucker, from Faith for Today television, will host a live seminar on marriage. Learn how to maximize your connection, create safety in your relationship, and avoid the negative issues that threaten marriage. Explore ways to stay "Madly in Love" forever!

Grief can be a lonely experience. Our church has begun a practice of coming together at the start of each new year to share in the burden of each other's grief, and to remember and honor those we have laid to rest. Whether your loss is recent or if you are grieving a loss from another period of life, it is our hope that this service is a meaningful way for you to reflect on the significance your loved one had to you and find support within our community. Join us on January 21, 2023, at 5PM for this reflective service.

Part of our service will include a “reading of the names." If you would like for your loved one’s or love ones’ name(s) to be included in the public reading, we would invite you to submit their name and a picture if you so desire. To send names and pictures click the button below.

One of the favorites of the season, Christmas By Candlelight, will be back this year on December 11, at 5:00 p.m. The Women’s Ministry Team cordially invites all ladies to join us for an evening full of Christmas Cheer! A meal and fellowship will be followed by a musical program and devotional in the church sanctuary.

We are continuing our fall Family Systems series with a presentation on parenting and Identity Development, on November 5, 2022, at 2:30 p.m.

Shindig a Texas-size party which feature great food, great fellowship and great music.

We will be featuring line dancing, brisket, cotton candy and fun activities for the kids. All are invited to this fun evening under the stars in the Arlington Church parking lot.

Addictions are not limited to things like alcohol or drugs. Pornography, technology, food, work, and even exercise are things around which we can have addictive behaviors. Even the pursuit of perfection can have an addictive element. These behaviors can have a profound impact on our lives. When a family member is experiencing a mental, behavioral or substance use disorder it can affect more than just the person in need of recovery. Parenting in the midst of any addiction within the family system can be particularly challenging.

Mark your calendars for August 13, 2022, and plan to attend the Full Life Conference with our keynote speaker, Dr. René Drumm. This year our focus is on whole family health. We hope this special Sabbath equips you with strategies for mental health resilience, well-adjusted coping, and effective parenting during times of high stress.
